Kevin Lee Murphy

January 29, 1960 — June 9, 2025

Kevin Lee Murphy, 65 of Streator passed away Monday morning (June 9, 2025) at his home.

A visitation will be held Wednesday (Jun. 18th) from 4 – 6 P.M. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 6 P.M. at the funeral home with cremation rites following and burial will be in the Bell Plain Baptist Cemetery, Pattonsburg.

Kevin was born on January 29, 1960, in Streator to John K. and Fay (Sipe) Murphy.

Surviving is his daughter Tara (James Denmark) Murphy of Florida, three grandchildren, Jade, Paige and Scarlet, two great grandchildren, Jaella and Royal, brothers Mike (Phyllis) Murphy of Streator and Terry (Cheryl) Murphy of Manville, sisters, Audrey Murphy of Streator and Kim (Gary) Forristall of Princeton and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Kelly, sisters, Janet Murphy, Pat Mullen, B.J. Murphy and Coleen Hjerpe.

Keving attended Streator Grade Schools and Streator High School. He was employed with Transco Products. Kevin enjoyed fishing, watching sports and spending time with his daughter, grandkids and family.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
