William F. Overocker Jr., 42, of 1408 N. Otter Creek St., died at 4:25 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Winterrowd-Hagi Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Screaming Eagles Motorcycle Club and Roger “Possum” Harper.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Born Jan. 15, 1960, in Streator, he is the sone of William F. Sr. and Elizabeth (Wright) Overocker. He married Mary Jo Bennett on July 17, 2002. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, William F. Overocker III of Streator; a daughter, Taylor R. Overocker of Streator; a stepson, Brian L. Missel of Streator; his father of Streator; sisters, Deborah (Mrs. William) Howard of Joliet and Ellen Smith of DeKalb; and several nieces and nephews.

He was formerly employed at Thatcher Glass Manufacturing and Heartland Homes until his illness.

A member of Central Church of Christ, he was also a member of Sandy Ford Sportsman’s Club and retired member of Screaming Eagles Motorcycle Club.

He graduated from Streator High School in 1978.
